WORTH THINKING ABOUTA robot does one part of the job
Debris collection does not replace water testing, chemical balancing, filter care or every manual cleaning task.
01Map the pool before comparing models.
Length, shape, surface and changes in depth can affect suitability. Note steps, benches and other areas that regularly collect debris. Do you mainly need floor cleaning, or are walls and the waterline important to you? Check the actual model’s stated coverage.
Think about what lands in the pool. Large leaves and fine material create different collection needs. Ask about the filter basket or media included with the model and how it is cleaned.
02Handling matters as much as features.
Consider where the cleaner will be stored and how you will lift it out of the water. Ask about the unit’s weight, cable or charging arrangement, cycle options and access to its debris container. Those details can decide whether the device becomes part of your routine or stays in storage.
If a model has an app, discuss what it adds and whether you want to rely on it. A feature is valuable when it solves a problem you actually have.
03Compare ownership, not just checkout price.
Ask about available replacement consumables, model-specific support and the terms that come with the product. Do not assume that every cleaner fits every finish or includes every attachment shown in a promotional image.
Contact Patriot’s Cornelius store for the current selection. Bring your pool details and the tasks you want to spend less time doing. We can start there rather than with a generic “best cleaner” list.
